2008-2009 Season DEADLINE FOR PRONGHORN ANTELOPE TAG DRAWING Applications, along with a nonrefundable processing fee ($7.50 per person) must be received by the DFG's License & Revenue Branch in Sacramento by 5:00 p.m., June 2, 2008. |

Drawing Results: Beginning June 25, 2008, draw results will be available by phone during regular business hours from DFG license sales offices, DFG offices and at https://biggame.dfg.ca.gov/biggame. Successful applicants should receive their tags in the mail by July 2, 2008. Successful applicants and alternates will be asked to submit their tag fees to the DFG's License and Revenue Branch in Sacramento by July 14, 2008. Tags not claimed by successful applicants will be awarded to individual alternates in the order drawn. |
| Antelope Tag Applications: Applicants must be at least 12 years of age and possess a valid California hunting license. Only one nonresident can be drawn for an antelope tag annually. |
| Resident Tag Fees: If successful in the drawing, you will be notified by mail to submit the tag fee of $118.00. |
| Nonresident Tag Fees: If successful in the drawing, you will be notified by mail to submit the tag fee of $365.00. |
| Bag and Possession Limit: One pronghorn antelope buck per season. |
| Validation of Antelope Tags: Only Department of Fish and Game employees and other authorized agents may validate antelope tags. Antelope tags must be countersigned before transporting such antelope except for the purpose of taking it to the nearest person authorized to countersign the license tag, on the route being followed from the point where the antelope is taken. |
| Return of Antelope Tags: Successful tagholders must return the mail-in portion of the tag, and unsuccessful tagholders must return both the mail-in and tag portions of the tag to the Department of Fish and Game, Wildlife Management Division in Sacramento within one week after the close of the pronghorn antelope season. Only department employees may validate antelope tags. |
