| GENERAL and ARCHERY SEASONS:
(Ban-tailed Pigeons) NORTHERN ZONE: Alpine, Butte, Del Norte, Glenn, Humbolt, Lassen, Mendocino, Modoc, Plumas, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Tehama, & Trinity Counties: The third Saturday in September extending for 9 consecutive days (Sep 19 - 27). . SOUTHERN ZONE: Includes the balance of the state not included in the northern zone described above. The season shall open on the third Saturday in December extending for 9 consecutive days (Dec 19 - 27). |
| Shoot Time: One half hour before sunrise to sunset. |
| Pigeon Hunting: To hunt pigeons, you must possess a valid California hunting license. Hunters under the age of 12 may hunt if they have taken and passed a hunter safety course and possess a valid California hunting license. |
