| Balance Of State From the third Saturday in October extending for 100 days. EXCEPT in the Sacramento Valley (West) Special Management Area where the white-fronted goose season will be open from the last Saturday in October through December 14. |

| Youth Hunts: (NOTE: Youth hunters must be 15 years of age or younger and must be accompanied by a non-hunting adult 18 years of age or older.) |
| Goose Hunting: To hunt geese, you must possess a valid California hunting license, a California Duck Stamp and a Federal Migratory Bird Stamp. Hunters under the age of 12 may hunt if they have taken and passed a hunter safety course and possess a valid California hunting license. State and Federal Stamps: State Duck Stamps and Federal Migratory Bird Stamp can be purchased at DFG offices or licensed agents. These stamps must be placed in the spaces provided on your California hunting license. |
