Youth Hunts: Youth hunters must be 15 years of age or younger, possess a valid California hunting license, and must be accompanied by a non-hunting adult 18 years of age or older.
Goose Hunting:
To hunt geese, you must possess a valid California hunting license, a California Duck Stamp and a Federal Migratory Bird Stamp. Hunters under the age of 12 may hunt if they have taken and passed a hunter safety course and possess a valid California hunting license.
